Looking to the future, Buildland sought a technology partner that shared its customer-first ethos and family-led approach. After a detailed review, the team selected Intact’s GenetiQ platform - a modern, cloud-native solution built on the framework of Intact iQ, a trusted platform by many across the NBG network.
For Buildland, the decision was about finding technology that could match its personal approach to business.
With 20 users across its two sites, Buildland will implement GenetiQ to unify purchasing, stock management, sales, and finance into one connected platform. To streamline everyday document handling and reduce manual processing, Buildland has also chosen GenetiQ’s inDocs module, implementing both inAP and inScan to digitise incoming paperwork, automate accounts payable processing, and keep key documents accessible directly within GenetiQ.
As part of its digital transformation, the company has also chosen to implement GenetiQ’s integration with AFD Software. This connection enhances data accuracy across the business by automatically validating addresses, contact details, and payment information at the point of entry. By capturing correct data first time, Buildland will reduce order delays, minimise failed payments, and ensure smoother customer interactions from quote to delivery.
Buildland will also implement GenetiQ’s Toolbank integration to support a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) replenishment process. By securely exchanging stock feeds and recommended purchase orders, the business will reduce manual ordering and data entry, improve stock availability, and extend its tool product range without increasing stockholding.
