Job Title: Junior Account Manager
My background: Born and raised on technology, Intact has always been a part of my life. In school, I chanced my arm at producing Intact’s first recorded demo in 2008 but officially, my Intact journey started back in 2017 when I joined the Marketing team. From event management to design, I was trying to dive headfirst into the world of ERP!
After 2018, I worked as a Marketing Manager for multiple brands as I honed my craft in digital design. I tried my hand as a Stadium Manager / Events Manager for Dundalk FC as we ventured off to the Europa League Group Stages and then returned to technology with an app development company as an Account Manager/ Marketing Executive.
2024 rolled around and I found the perfect opportunity to return to Intact in a new department and a new challenge to start the year!
What’s the first app you check in the morning? X/Twitter or the NBA (Let’s Go Nuggets). As bad as it sounds... I let my feed start off my day. It could be news from across the world or hilarious cat videos, either way it's X. “Trust in X to start your day!” (Said no one ever!)
What’s your favourite travel location? I loved Thailand. The people were so welcoming, the views were straight out of Avatar, and the food was so tasty! If it’s backpacking or luxury living, Thailand has options for all. Koh Tao and Koh Phi Phi are both must visit locations. I spent 1 month in Thailand, and it wasn’t nearly enough!
Are you a coffee or tea person? Coffee all day, every day and a large Caramel Latte on days that end in Y!
What are the three items you would take to a deserted island? A Football/Basketball to keep fit and limit the boredom, the largest portion of Mini Eggs available because in what scenario would you not want some? #MakeMiniEggsAllYearRound. Finally, and probably the most obvious answer… Remote Apps!
What’s on your bucket list? I’ve always wanted to see the Northern Lights in person. I came close in 2020 when I was in Norway but unfortunately the lights went south…
Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter? Winter (Ski Season) > Summer (Hay fever ruins Summertime) I feel like Spring and Autumn are just waiting lobbies for Summer and Winter!
What’s your favourite thing about your job? The People. Intact always values the community among staff and customers, that hasn’t changed over the years. Everyone can and will do something for you. It’s a work environment that allows for great people to do great things!
