Local Software Firm, Intact, Expanding Workforce to Support Growth

Intact, a leading developer of ERP and business management software, is set to create 40 new jobs throughout 2021 across Ireland and the UK.

Following a continued increase in demand for the company’s solutions from new and existing customers, Intact is aiming to expand its talented workforce with the launch of its, ‘Where? Right Here’, recruitment campaign.

The jobs being created will span software development, project management, account management, software support and more.

Speaking on the announcement, CEO Justin Lawless said: “At Intact, we don’t just develop software, we develop our people too. We’re excited to be recruiting new talent at a time when the economy is facing significant challenges.

Our ability to attract talented professionals and offer them a rewarding career path has helped Intact grow rapidly over the last number of years. We are committed to investing in our people to ensure Intact’s growth always supports our vow to help customers operate at their best, Lawless added.

Headquartered in Dundalk, Intact is one of Ireland and the UK’s leading developers of ERP and business management software for the merchant, wholesale and distribution sector. The new hires will bring the total staff headcount to approximately 200 across its Irish and UK operations. The company currently has additional offices in Cork and Wicklow, as well as Hemel Hempstead and Warrington in England.

Intact has scooped four consecutive Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards since 2016, recognising the company as one of the country’s 50 fastest growing technology firms. It was also honoured with the “Great Place to Work Award” in 2018, an official recognition of the culture of trust, integrity, and values that have been at the core of Intact’s success since being founded in 1992.

Fiona McGuinness

I've been part of the Intact family for 16 rewarding years. After completing my Business Studies degree, I knew Marketing was a field I wanted to pursue. Prior to joining Intact, I primarily worked in the financial sector, focusing on marketing for credit unions. When I started at Intact, I handled all the marketing tasks by myself. Over time, as our team expanded, so did my role. Now, I specialise in crafting compelling content across various platforms, from blogs to video scripts. No two days are the same, and I thrive on the dynamic nature of my role. Whether it's diving into customer case studies or lead campaigns, I'm driven by the positive impact our solutions bring to businesses. In an age where AI plays a significant role, I remain a firm believer in the power of authentic content. When I'm not working, you'll find me enjoying quality time with my family, sewing, or watercolor paintings.
