Intact are proud to announce that Bathroom and Plumbing Superstore have placed their order for a fully cloud hosted iQ system, adding another NBG member to Intact’s list of clients.
Bathroom and Plumbing Superstore started trading in September 2004 with just one branch based in Croydon. The company has enjoyed sustained success since and now have grown to a network of 5 branches all based around the South of London.
Providing trade and retail clients with plumbing and heating products, they also boast enviable bathroom showrooms. Looking to the future, they have planned growth of both the branch network and business model, and needed a system capable of supporting these plans.
As they have grown the business, the current IT setup has been struggling to cope with their trade counter and back office requirements. The decision to move to iQ from Intact has been made primarily to help improve control and visibility of information across the business.
As well as the iQ software solution, they have also placed their order to host the application in Intact’s dedicated hosting centre. By doing so, they intend to take the pressure off their need to maintain a central server themselves and provide a more stable and guaranteed delivery of the system to all users across all branches.
Discussing their order with Intact, Tony Milbury (Director of Bathroom and Plumbing Superstore) commented: “We have been crying out for a dedicated merchant system, that is more tailored to our business for many years now. It was always a project that we put off due to branch growth and other factors. However, we have got to the stage that our current setup really was holding us back.”
