Chief Marketing Officer

Intact are seeking to hire a Chief Marketing Officer. The CMO will be a strategic force within the company accustomed to being a creative yet analytical member of an ambitious, results driven team tasked to create and roll out our marketing and brand strategy. This person has experience at high-growth B2B companies and is able to own all areas of B2B marketing, including but not limited to: Product marketing, demand generation, content marketing, branding, public relations, customer marketing, ABM, marketing analytics, and events.

Scope of Role

The CMO will be a strategic force within the company accustomed to being a creative yet analytical member of an ambitious, results driven team tasked to create and roll out our marketing and brand strategy. This person has experience at high-growth B2B companies and is able to own all areas of B2B marketing, including but not limited to: Product marketing, demand generation, content marketing, branding, public relations, customer marketing, ABM, marketing analytics, and events.

As a member of our Executive team reporting directly to the CEO, the CMO is responsible for the company’s core marketing strategy and shares the responsibility to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a marketing & branding strategy and subsequent marketing plan to support revenue growth targets. You will manage the optimum execution of the marketing plan which will include high performance digital marketing campaigns, email marketing, web, paid search, ATL and BTL campaigns. You will ensure all ABM, Marketing Automation, CRM, Web, Analytics, Social Media channels and platforms are optimally managed and used to support marketing goals.
  • Create and own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new products & features. You will set clear objectives and goals, research and define target audiences, develop marketing and communication strategies, and measure adoption.
  • Drive the evolution of our brand positioning, bringing it to life in a clear and consistent way that resonates with and motivates our target audiences. You will promote the company as an innovator to the press and trade and oversee outbound customer-facing communications across our website, blog, and social channels.
  • Collaborate and lead across the organization. You will represent the voice of the customer within the organization, bringing your insights to cross-functional stakeholders across Intact’s business units and executive leadership. You will also lead and mentor a growing team of marketers across a broad set of functions including demand generation marketing, customer marketing, content, and brand.
  • Build a marketing department. Identify talent needs, hire and manage a high-performing integrated marketing team. You will also optimally assign and manage the marketing budget
  • Translate marketing goals and activities into measurable and meaningful tasks that are integrated with company KPIs and objectives and build, direct and manage the marketing team to achieve the overall company objectives.

Qualifications

  • Masters in Marketing/Business/Related Discipline
  • Digital Marketing qualification
  • MBA preferred

Knowledge and Experience

  • 10 years in a senior marketing position with a proven track record of positive impacting sales revenue in a b2b sales driven environment
  • Strong digital marketing experience ideally using a marketing automation and/or CRM system to facilitate lead generation/nurturing
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, lead and mentor an effective team
  • Strong track record in strategic brand management. Ability to ensure marketing agenda feeds into and assists in driving overall company strategy
  • Proven ability to create, plan and implement effective marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Thorough knowledge of strategic marketing principles & brand, product and service marketing related disciplines including ATL, BTL, Digital, Design & Print, Marketing Automation and CRM
  • Experience working in a b2b marketing environment preferable
