Founded in 1770 the C T Baker Group is a multifaceted business operating a very successful retail department store, builders’ merchants and supermarkets. There are approx. 250 employees located over numerous different departments across the Group and each has its own distinct nuances making the C T Baker Group a very unique company in that respect.
Before using Intact
The C T Baker Group’s previous system was in place for just over 10 years. Whilst it was simple and robust they simply couldn’t move forward with it. The Group had been looking for a system for almost 2.5 years.

Intact iQ is creating greater efficiencies, frees up time and gives us more opportunities to do more with the business. We have full real time visibility of our business data and KPIs; accessible from one screen. What’s more, there is a lot more Intact iQ can do for us in the future.
One of the modules we’ve added to our system was the Intact NeXus feature; this really helps us lower the total cost of ownership of the system as we can create custom rules aligned to our business processes. This is just another example of how we can tailor the software to make it work for us.

It’s the most flexible system we’ve seen. We have so many different processing methods for trade counter transactions and we were able to put them in as we wanted.
