Timber Distribution
The timber sales distribution module facilitates the ease of entry of timber sales at the point of sale. So whether you are producing an invoice, delivery docket, sales order or quotation, this module allows you to collate the information in a simple and user friendly manner.
The true benefits of our timber sales module are seen through the point of sale or direct invoicing screens.
At the point of sale, the operator enters in or searches for the relevant product code. If this product is defined as a “Timber” style product, an ancillary screen pops up. This prompts the user to enter in the various quantities of the various lengths of the same product. The system then calculates the total linear metres of this product and multiplies this by the unit price to give the net amount. This information can then be carefully presented on an invoice, credit note, delivery docket or quotation to clearly show store personnel or the customer what is on the order.
