inVision

Intact V09 has embraced the powerful functionality of Microsoft Excel by providing real time data updates from the Intact tables.  Through the smart use of tags you can now access ledger information directly from Excel (watch a video on the use of smart tags here).  Effective tailoring of inVision will result in saving hours and hours of time spent preparing management information.

Once registered, the inVision module creates a set of functions within Excel. These can then be used to interrogate the Intact data set to display the corresponding information from the live Intact accounts. An Intact consultant will create a link spreadsheet which will pull across the data into excel.  It is up to the user themselves to decide how the data is to be displayed within Excel.

A working knowledge of Excel would be an definite advantage as it will allow you to maximise the effectivness of the system.
